So I've been playing World of Warcraft again. I'm having such a blast, but I feel horribly guilty at the same time. I know what a hold it can have on me and I want to give in to that temptation to sit for hours at a time and play non-stop. I have plenty of things to keep me from doing so, but that urge sits at the back of my brain most the time. Azali is good at keeping me from playing too long, as well as activities outside the house.

My knitting has suffered with my new motivation for the game. I have yet to start the puppy that I told myself I'd make for Sean. Nor have I finished the Magic the Gathering deck cozy I've promised my Hubby. I did manage to get a decent start on it last night and should have it done today.

I'm doing a Girl's Night again, we need a new name, "Henfest" has been suggested. I really enjoy getting together once a week again with my female friends :D. So far it has just been myself, Brittany, Jazzy, and Jessi. I like that it's a small group. We are also trying to read books and discuss them. I'm supposed to be reading The Giver, though I don't have a copy of it to read yet. I'm going to be borrowing here soon.

Anywho, I don't have much else that I feel like typing about, or anything that I can think of.

Girl's Night!

Trying to start up Girl's Night again! Been over a year since we did it last. It is what the name implies, us girls getting together for the evening. We do various crafting or baking. Play some board games. It will be Brittany, Jessi, Brittany, and I. Azali will be there too, but she won't be doing any baking.

Blake is home earlier today. He went in at 4:30am though to do the count. He is currently napping.

Power Rangers

I let Azali have the PS3 controller again. She likes seeing what she can do to the Netflix menu... This time she put on Power Rangers: The Movie. Takes me back to a time when I used to like watching that show. She's not really watching it herself but shrieking in joy that she is standing on her toys in victory.

Didn't go to the gym like we had planned. I've spent most of the day sleeping (or trying to) on the couch. I was starting to get frustrated from the broken amounts of sleep I was getting. Brittany stayed home today from work cause she wasn't feeling well, so she wasn't sure about going to the gym either.

My mother's friend/roommate, Dustin is in the hospital ICU. His heart is failing and they unsure if he will make it. We are all praying for his recovery and hoping for the best for him.

My friend Brittany aka Jazzy will be visiting me tonight as well, she'll be here within the hour. I look forward to her visit, hopefully Azali won't be too fussy.

Update for 06/30/10

Yesterday wasn't the best day. I was going to work out without Brandy there, but the whole day, my knee was popping while I walked, not a good sign I figure so I held off on going to work out.

I was only sore in the backs of my thighs, and my knee was a little swollen and kept popping. I'd had surgery on it once before for broken cartilage. I think its going to be a problem during my weight loss journey. However, I believe that as I lose weight, it will become easier and easier to handle. :) Same with my hip!

Yesterday's meals were as follows: (from memory anyhow)
Breakfast: Bowl of Shredded Wheat
Lunch: PB&J, some carrots and some grapes.
Snack: Twix Candy Bar
Dinner: Burrito from Aldofo's here in town. I can tell you, its not good for you. >.> But like with every burrito, I ate half, took out the innards and ate the rest of the tortilla.
Snacks: Popcorn, PB&Banana sandwich
Liquids: 6 bottles of water! :)

So, I didn't do too well. I notice that I snack more on days where I'm stressed or upset. Yesterday I wasn't too pleasant, gotta learn to replace those feelings with something other than food, or at least eat something healthy. I am proud about the water though! :) No soda. ^_^;; Thats a start!

Well today I wasn't really sore from yesterday's workout. Kinda felt it in my arms when I moved them a certain way, but nothing that is hindering. Looking forward to the gym tomorrow actually. I like getting out of the house and doing something positive for myself ^^

Azali had her second doctor appointment today. She checks out fine, with the exception of a small infection (Nothing serious!) She is scheduled to see the doc again in 2 months!

After the visit with the doctor my husband and I (along with Azali) went to his grandmother's house. She and her husband had yet to see Azali since she was born, so we stayed and visited with them for a bit. They took us to dinner at a place called the Hen House. Local restaurant, mostly centered around chicken. They do offer other types of food though. I had a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and a side of whole kernel corn. Was tasty :D.

Nothing else really going on today. Gonna watch some more Bones with my hubby, get a shower, and relax the rest of the night.

The Morning After...

Well, last night I was feeling really sore! So I hunted down some pain pills and found some Bayer: Back & Body, which was exactly what I needed!!! Except for the 64mg of caffeine I didn't realize I was taking as well. Didn't get to sleep till nearly 1am, which means today I'll be a zombie. Unless of course those pills do their job again and wake me up for work!

My right knee is a little swollen, again I'm not surprised by that. Although I'm unsure if I'm supposed to let it go back down before working out or if I can continue? It doesn't really hurt.. its just swollen.

The backs of my legs also hurt, I think its from those evil squats. But, overall I can still function! Today I'm going to try for another circuit, or maybe even Zumba. But if I'm feeling really sore after work, I'll just hold off till tomorrow, Brandy and I are going for sure then. :) Ciao!
