Well today I wasn't really sore from yesterday's workout. Kinda felt it in my arms when I moved them a certain way, but nothing that is hindering. Looking forward to the gym tomorrow actually. I like getting out of the house and doing something positive for myself ^^

Azali had her second doctor appointment today. She checks out fine, with the exception of a small infection (Nothing serious!) She is scheduled to see the doc again in 2 months!

After the visit with the doctor my husband and I (along with Azali) went to his grandmother's house. She and her husband had yet to see Azali since she was born, so we stayed and visited with them for a bit. They took us to dinner at a place called the Hen House. Local restaurant, mostly centered around chicken. They do offer other types of food though. I had a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and a side of whole kernel corn. Was tasty :D.

Nothing else really going on today. Gonna watch some more Bones with my hubby, get a shower, and relax the rest of the night.

The Morning After...

Well, last night I was feeling really sore! So I hunted down some pain pills and found some Bayer: Back & Body, which was exactly what I needed!!! Except for the 64mg of caffeine I didn't realize I was taking as well. Didn't get to sleep till nearly 1am, which means today I'll be a zombie. Unless of course those pills do their job again and wake me up for work!

My right knee is a little swollen, again I'm not surprised by that. Although I'm unsure if I'm supposed to let it go back down before working out or if I can continue? It doesn't really hurt.. its just swollen.

The backs of my legs also hurt, I think its from those evil squats. But, overall I can still function! Today I'm going to try for another circuit, or maybe even Zumba. But if I'm feeling really sore after work, I'll just hold off till tomorrow, Brandy and I are going for sure then. :) Ciao!

My First Post! Wootskies!

So today I worked out for the first time in a long time! I went to a gym with my twin sis and we did the circuit there. Mostly cardio and stuff, no weights or strength training. It went really well ^^ Was a nice atmosphere too!
I recently had a daughter, she's actually 3 weeks old today! I don't need to lose my pregnancy since I've managed to drop it already, but I'd like to lose the extra pudge I've seemed to have leftover. I'm looking forward though to getting into better shape so I can keep up with my daughter as she grows. I'm also hoping to gain more energy for myself to get done what needs to be done around my house since I plan to stay at home to take care of my little girl.

Weighed myself while at the gym, I come in at 194lbs. Let us see how it'll drop over time. (It also helps that I'm nursing my daughter, which seems to be burning a ton of calories too!)

The First Day of the Rest of My Life...

Weight: 268 lbs (Yes, not nearly as much as a whale, but as close as I'm going to get!)

-Geez Brittany, can't you come up with ANYTHING better than THAT for a title?!?!-

The answer simply is no, but its the truth! The cheesy and overused truth! The reason being is that though I'm trying to lose weight, I'm not doing this as a temporary fix... I'm changing my life. Fat Brittany (the one who LOVES sweets, sitting on her butt, and sleeping) is yesterday's child. Skinny Brittany (the one who doesn't shop in the plus size department, eats healthy, and works out several times a week) is still in the womb. In-Progress Brittany is in the NOW. I have just learned to crawl now its time to work those legs into walking!

Today was a great day I think, my meals weren't the best they could be though...

Breakfast: Bowl of frosted shredded wheat
Snack: Grapes
Lunch: PB&J and a few chips
Snack: Another PB&J when I got home from work.. (<-- BAD BRITTANY)
Dinner: Veggies and Rice.. Mmm
Liquids: 3 bottles of water and a mountain dew. Its wasn't diet, which made me sad... and I was guiltily drinking.

For exercise, Brandy and I did about 40 mins of the circuit. It was a bit longer because we just learned to use the machines today! By the time we finished our 2nd lap, I was beat red, sweating.. and feeling great! My right knee feels slightly swollen, but I'm not surprised, that happens if I climb stairs. /shrug

Tomorrow, I'd like to increase my water intake, and replace my junky snacks for fruit or veggies. I'll probably take some grapes and a banana to work with me. For lunch, I'm not sure yet, probably a turkey sandwich and some chips. I don't have the caloric value of all my meals because I'm not prepared for that yet. Seems like alot of work, so right now I'm just concentrating on eating less, and more healthy!

Well, thats all for today... tomorrow, I will wake up a better me! G'night!
